Awards & Special Moments

I am a great believer in preserving the memory of special moments. Too often, we let them get lost in the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life.  Here are a few of mine...

'Distinguished Past Pupil Award'
Scoil Mhuire Gan Smal, Blarney, Co. Cork

I was presented with the Distinguished Past Pupil Award at the Scoil Mhuire Gan Smal Annual Awards Night in February 2024. This was an absolute privilege and deeply emotional. It reminded me why roots and community are such important parts of what shape us and must always be remembered on our onward journey.

Blarney Hall of Fame Award

I was presented with the

Blarney Hall of Fame Award in January 2024.  I shared this wonderful night with my family and was deeply humbled to be recognised in this way by the town where I grew up and attended school.
