I grew up near Blarney, Co. Cork in Ireland. I am a London-based, mentor and coach and a graduate of University College Cork, with over 30 years of international, cross-industry business experience.

My adventures have taken me to some interesting parts of the world.  Aside from the UK, I have worked in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Taiwan. I have held senior positions, and also been engaged as a consultant, across a number of sectors, including leisure, retail, marketing, events, early years nurseries and charities.

Notable achievements have included:
- winning a silver medal for kata in Karate at the GKR World Cup in 2011.

- being admitted to the

Freedom of the City of London, 2023, having been nominated to receive this privilege in recognition of my work with the Irish community in London.

I was also honoured, in the same year, to be named Grand Marshal of the Mayor of London's St. Patrick's Festival Parade.

I am mother to two wonderful young women Faith and Asha.

“There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is, nor how valuable it is, nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep open and aware directly to the urges that motivate YOU.

Keep the channel open.

Martha Graham

As quoted in “Dance to the Piper and Promenade Home” (1982) by Agnes de Mille
